Festival Grub

Delicious food to fuel your dancing needs. ZoukOut features a tight curation of food vendors and partners to ensure that the hunger pangs will be sorted and duly satisfied.

A first for the 17 year-old festival, we will be collaborating with celebrated restaurants, Burnt Ends and  FOC Sentosa (FOC Group) for an exclusive pop-up dining experience. The pop-up will offer up to 150 guests a full-service, four hands dinner against a panoramic sunset and festival backdrop as part of the festival experience on  1 December.

A joint culinary affair by the teams behind 1-Michelin-star modern Australian barbeque restaurant, Burnt Ends and Spanish Mediterranean sanctuary by Michelin-star Chef Nandu Jubany, FOC Sentosa.

Set to put forward dishes that encapsulate signature touches of both establishments, guests can look forward to a full-course dinner lined with over 10 exquisite plates and pass-around canapes suited for the convivial festival mood.

The modern Australian barbecue restaurant is famous for its open-concept kitchen with custom-made grills and oven fired by coal, apple or almond wood. These “four tonne, dual cavity ovens and three elevation grills” heat up to over 1,700 degrees. It is said to be modeled after one that Pynt hand-built for an extended pop-up barbecue event in London. Since welcoming its first guests in May 2013, the restaurant has established itself as an integral part of Singapore’s new food order and the country’s historic Chinatown neighbourhood.

FOC Sentosa, located at the east end of tranquil Palawan Beach, is inspired by Barcelona’s world-famous beach culture: it transforms from a relaxing morning hangout to an idyllic Mediterranean lunch spot and, come night time, a vibrant gastronomic getaway and a great array of events! The thoughtfully prepared cuisine, conceptualised by celebrated Chef Nandu Jubany, Alma Mater of FOC Group that FOC Sentosa belongs to, focuses on contemporary Mediterranean dishes well-suited to Singapore’s tropical climate.

The two-story FOC Sentosa structure holds two ample event halls upstairs, reserved for special private and corporate events, with its uninterrupted wall-to-wall views of the South China Sea. The breath-taking view and tranquil coastal ambience will suit any special occasion, be it a birthday, anniversary, wedding celebration or corporate events and launches. A distinctive catering style, designed and guided by Chef Nandu Jubany encourages an interactive and fun style of dining that include ‘Jamón Ibérico’ carving, live cooking stations with huge Paellas, Tapas and BBQ items prepared ‘a la minute’ as well as creative snacks Pass Around. Reimagining Barcelona’s beach front, FOC Sentosa gives you everything you need to experience true Mediterranean vibes here in Singapore.
